I’m Robin Abel.
I’m the founder of Reveal2Heal, and I’d like to begin by thanking and welcoming you to my functional health and wellness practice.
My story takes me back to June 10th, 2008, when I first heard the words no one ever wants to hear: you have cancer. I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). What followed was one of the most challenging times of my life – chemo, bone marrow biopsies, constant blood draws, weight and hair loss, a 30-day stay at the hospital, and 6 months off work.
By 2016 I became gluten intolerant and developed interstitial cystitis, a painful bladder disease. Due to these conditions, I wasn’t left with much to eat or drink, just medication for the pain and sleep. Several years had passed since I was diagnosed with cancer, and I didn’t see any improvement in my health – until I took matters into my own hands.
Functional Medicine
After spending a significant part of my life waiting for medicine to work, I decided to pursue other alternatives. So, I researched and went to functional medicine practitioners. Within a month, through supplements, nutrition, and physical therapy, I started healing on the inside. Two and a half years later, I received Low-Level Laser Light Therapy. That was a turning point in my life.
I was relieved of all the symptoms within two and a half months. After getting restored back to health, I took a year-long course to become a Certified Functional Nutritional counselor and Laser Therapy, practitioner. The point of sharing my story with you is to tell you that helping others restore their health is my passion. The Lord has blessed me with the capability to help others who want to restore their health, the way I did.
I know what everyone has been telling you after years of medical visits and conducting tests: ‘we don’t know what you have,’ ‘there’s nothing we can do,’ ‘it’s part of getting old.’ Let me assure you, in most cases, there are many treatment options available, and together, we can figure out the cause.
